Who We Are
Arjun Mahto Evening College (AMEC) is a newly established premier institution dedicated to providing quality Bachelor of Arts education in the heart of rural Jharkhand. Founded in June 2025, AMEC is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) and aims to bridge the educational gap for students from underserved backgrounds. Our affiliation with VBU ensures that our academic standards meet the highest quality benchmarks while our programs remain accessible to local communities.
NEWAMEC proudly implements the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This modern approach to education offers multiple exit options, interdisciplinary learning, and a credit-based system that empowers students with greater flexibility and choice in their academic journey.
Located in Siyatand, District Giridih, Jharkhand, we recognize the challenges faced by students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and have made it our mission to make higher education accessible and affordable for all. Our campus is designed to be a welcoming space where students can focus on their academic growth in a supportive environment, with modern classrooms and facilities that enhance the learning experience.
